{Real Weddings} : Kara + Will by Kristen Swanson

If ever there was a perfect intimate, outdoor wedding, this surely would be it. This backyard soiree was designed by the loveliest of lovelies bride, Kara from Kara’s Bridal. And the best part? There are so many steal-worthy diy details. And the photographs that Kristen Swanson snapped…well, they are little works of art. From the sweet table arrangements to the perfectly perfect wedding cake, I am madly, hopelessly, crazy in love with this charming wedding. My favorite photo? When the bride and groom jump in the pool… priceless!

From the bride... "Will and I had a very small and intimate backyard ceremony with close friends and family. Followed by some amazing food and then a dip in the pool.

As a wedding planner for 7 years and a boutique owner for a year, I love everything about weddings. But I never dreamed about anything big or over the top for myself. When I started planning my wedding it all came very easy; we planned it in 3 months. The dress was the first thing, which I got from my store; Kara's Bridal. I love the black flower accents, I think it was perfect for my backyard wedding.

The setting was my mom's backyard, located on the west side with a great view of the mountains. Our amazing photographer; Kristen Swanson, was able to capture some gorgeous shots of us with the beautiful mountains in the background. Long tables were set for dinner, with lots of candles and petite flower arrangements. To give the wedding a more elegant feel, I draped the entire patio with a crushed chiffon fabric. One of my favorite things was my "pop of pink" bouquet; a gift from the very talented Laura Carrillo

To end the evening Will and I decided to take a dip in the pool; dress and all! It made for some of our favorite pictures and a special moment we will always remember"

{Real Wedding} : Ade + Rob by Daniel Dalstra Photography

This next wedding is so effortlessly charming, kinda like the rustic California garage where this adorable couple had their wedding reception. I don’t think there was a single guest at these nuptials that doesn’t know how to have a good time especially the fun-loving bride and groom.  There is so much happiness and love oozing out of these amazing pictures by El Paso based photographer, Daniel Dalstra, I can’t even imagine how much fun the actual day must have been!
Ade and Rob got hitched in a tiny church near Solvang, California, where several members of the bride's family have been married in the past. The ceremony was fun and relaxed yet perfectly beautiful. Then they took a stroll through a Santa Ynez winery right after their ceremony! It was so amazing!.. And the reception, what can I say?.. Sometimes, in the middle of the glitz and glamour, it’s the simple, DIY weddings that are the most charming, the most memorable. And this John Deere type of fete is all charm. All DIY style. Add to the equation that the bride and her bridesmaids wore cowboy boots and you have me grinning from ear to ear.

{Real Wedding} : Bianca + Omar by Stephane Lemaire

My favorite photographs are those that capture moments beyond the posed or the detail shot.  French photographer Stephane Lemaire just might be the king of finding these precious occasions and turning them into exquisite memories. A month ago or so, I presented you Bianca and Omar’s stunning engagement session, and today is a happy day here at Belle because I bring you their beautiful nuptials. Not only I’m dying over the lovely couple and the bride’s yellow parasol, but also the amazing scenes from the McKelligon Canyon Amphitrite make me skip a bit (perhaps two) each time I look at them. It’s a vibrant, summer wedding in El Paso full of color and pure love. Enjoy!
