{Engagement Session} : Brooke + Travis by Dawson Taylor Studios

I knew the pecan tree farms around the Mesilla area where a beautiful location for e-sessions or wedding shoots, but this engagement shoot by Dawson Taylor Studios takes pecan tree backdrops to a whole new level. And quite frankly, I couldn’t expect anything less from the Dawson Taylor Studios team. They always do a great job not only shooting beautiful images, but also styling them to perfection. I’m just loving all the props, specially the pink parasol! And when you add to this equation totally adorable cowboy boots, well let’s just say I am in my blogging happy place. Approachable, light-hearted yet totally beautiful, this engagement session has it all.

{Engagement Inspiration} : Vintage Bikes - Part 1

Happy Monday! If you stopped by Belle last week, you may recall that charming pink bike I posted on Friday. Remember the photos on my Fabulous Friday posts are always clues of things coming up on the following week.

And here we’re already… So today, I’m starting of this week with some inspiration on my favorite accessories for e-sessions, vintage bikes. This fun elements give engagement shoots a colorful, romantic touch and a bit of excitement. The following images are so pretty that probably would get you encouragement to bring a pair of bicycles to your own engagement shoot. But, please remember that, the key-factor when incorporating vintage bikes into e-sessions is the color. In my humble opinion, pastels or bright hues work best!

Maybe it’s just the super talented Jessica of Ideology Photography that made me realize the enchantment of this little town and it's surroundings that once were as wild as the west ever was. {Engagement Session} : Ella + Jacob by Dawson Taylor Studios

It’s Wedding Wednesday, so that obviously means I have a day full of gorgeousness coming your way! And I can’t think of a better way to kick off such a fine day than this piece of picnic perfection by Dawson Tylor Studios.  The moment I laid eyes on this beautiful lace tipi I fell head over heels in love.  This New Mexico engagement session brings together natural beauty, wide open fields, yummy cupcakes, a lace tipi, a picnic scene and a punch of vintage charm. Each and every photo is just 100% swoon-worthy!

From the Photographer... Jacob and Ella were looking for a session that captured their love in the scene of a picnic shared by two people in love. They brought along cupcakes, lemonade, dishes, and an antique chess set to play. The cupcakes had J & E lettering on top which Ella helped design and make happen. Along with this, the mason jars, quilt, and all the fabric were provided by Jacob and Ella's parents who love antique style. - Dawson Hunt
