Embroidered Ring Bearer Pillows

Once you've decided on the location of your wedding and begin planning the big day with your wedding planner, you will quickly realize there is an entire list of small details that need to be thought about too. A ring pillow is one not to be forgotten because if you have a Destination Wedding, it won't be as easy to run out and buy one locally.

I fell for a few on ETSY this weekend...

This pillow looks luxurious with silk & metallic organza:

I live in the South where it is proven that ANYTHING can be monogrammed! {that's another story, for another blog} I love this classic embroidered ring pillow made of Irish Linen:

Or if you want to make your own pillow, customized to match your color theme, this vendor sells a "how to" guide:

Guest Post Part II - Finding Wedding Rings You'll Love Forever!

Hi Readers! Enjoy this guest post from Pammy Rosen at My Jewelery Box about selecting the perfect wedding ring! I'll be back in a few days... Cheers, Laura

Wedding rings are available in thousands of designs, ranging from plain solid bands to diamond accented designs. Many jewelry designers offer full wedding sets that include the engagement ring and matching bands for the husband and wife. If you cannot find the perfect design from the jeweler's showroom stock, many jeweler's will offer modifications to what they have on display, or the ability to design the rings of your dreams from scratch. Despite what you may think, a custom ring often costs little more than buying from the showroom stock if you find a jeweler that works independently.

If you plan to buy
diamond wedding rings, it is important to understand the four C's of purchasing diamonds. Cut, clarity, carat, and color. The cut of the diamond refers to the shape of the stone. While round diamonds are the traditional cut, many other options are available to achieve the perfect look.

The
clarity of the ring refers to any natural flaws the diamond may have. Choosing a lower clarity diamond doesn’t necessarily mean you are sacrificing on quality, as many of the flaws the jewelers note in a diamond are invisible to the naked eye. The higher the clarity of the diamond, the more you will pay, so if you need to save money this is a good place to start cutting your costs. Carat refers to the weight of the diamond, so the higher the number the bigger the stone. Color is the one aspect most people pay the most attention to when shopping for diamonds. Some people prefer a diamond that appears white, while others prefer one that sparkles with a rainbow of color when light reflects through it.

Regardless of what style of wedding rings you choose, make certain you are completely in love with the design before you make your purchase. Much like your spouse, your wedding rings are something you will live with for the rest of your life, so choosing the right set requires some thought.

Guest Post: Finding Wedding Rings You’ll Love Forever

Hi Readers! Enjoy this guest post from Pammy Rosen at My Jewlrey Box about selecting the perfect wedding ring! I'll be back in a few days... Cheers, Laura

There are many decisions to be made when getting married and once you’ve found the right person, your next step is choosing the right wedding ring. Wedding bands are a husband and wife’s symbol of love and commitment. If all goes well, the rings you are wearing today will be the rings you will be wearing the rest of your lives. That’s why it is so important to choose something that you love, that is timeless, and will not seem dated in the years to come.

Many couples choose rings that are an exact match, but this is a tradition that you can choose to overlook. It’s important to find rings that suit your style and personality; that mean something sacred and special to you. Irish Cladaugh rings are one example of distinctive rings that have been making a huge comeback. For those who like interesting shapes, knots and designs, Cladaugh rings can be a nice wedding ring alternative.

If you’re having trouble deciding between something traditional and something you find a little different, interesting and unique, there’s no reason to sacrifice your preferences for tradition's sake. However, if you are more traditional in your likes, there are always ways to tweak your options and find bands that are similar but not exactly the same. For example, if you like white gold and your spouse prefers yellow gold, you might find rings that have the same design but made of the type of gold each of you prefer.
